Teddy Baden
Teddy Baden does it doggy style, and when not dogging in a car park, he’s doing dogs on walls, or on canvas in his studio. His creative compulsions and love of the aforementioned combined; led to experimenting stenciling techniques by using the many varying sizes and Characters. With over four hundred different breeds, viewing them almost as alien creatures.. dogs proved for Teddy to be the perfect subject, and 'good sitters'.

Early works focused more on basic shapes and silhouetted outlines, the stencil process lending itself perfectly to simplifying imagery. However more recent works emphasize detail and playful posture.

Baden shows an interest in the ‘hairy ones’ almost like someone would tree types or cloud formations (but clouds are far away and dogs piss all over trees!) The work in essence is homage to the dog and a shared relationship in human society, spanning over a hundred centuries.

As well as being a practicing stencil artist, Teddy is familiar with many different disciplines within the arts, having studied at art school institutions. Doing work on the streets enables him to get work seen at grass roots level, without entering the realm of often pretentious art gallery.
He has however exhibited works widely and organized shows and exhibitions,
most recently as Curator and Co Organizer of 'Mutate Britain' and 'Rise of the Non Conformists'.
